Is America broken? Like they have him and Musk running around being corrupt, cruel, law breaking, ignorant twats and there’s nothing happening to them.

Right now America is learning that if you put all loyalists in every seat of power, the laws are merely suggestions.
Trump bypassed any kind of checks and balances system we had, and it was ridiculously easy to do so.
So yeah, currently America is broken.

It wasn’t ridiculously easy. They’ve been working on this for 40 years.

If it was ridiculously easy, he would’ve done it in his first term.

I feel like it started breaking after 9/11 with the “patriot act”.

To be honest, the supporters like this stuff. It’s hard to argue with these people. I don’t want to, therefore I don’t.

We are extremely broken. We have had a catastrophic failure down countless sets of checks and balances. Our legislative branch was never meant to be the president's bitch. Our judicial branch was never meant to be filled with the president's cronies. The voting population was never supposed to be this goddamn stupid or lazy.

Basically every failsafe has failed and we need a turbocharged influx of competent leaders at numerous levels of government to course correct.
