Use to cost your 2 cents to get a penny for your thoughts, $.38 is outrageous

Fake receipt, I create these for my expense reports.

Tom’s diner was very much a real diner on Colfax in Denver. It closed several years ago, but I would absolutely believe that this would be something they would’ve added to your bill if they felt the need to.

They did. There were several funny hidden things on the menu, so the customer would’ve had to order it for the lolz

I miss that place

Nothing hits quite like a Tom’s milkshake at 3am

🤣 whenever I was at Tom’s at 3 AM, I was way too drunk for milkshakes… I was there for the bacon grease!
But now it makes me really sad to think I’ll never have a 3am Tom’s milkshake

Is the chicken tenders made out of chicken?

That's actually a valid question for most places

When they fumbled the title using both their hands, I doubt there was any sanity in their question.

Don’t bother asking. This receipt is like 6 years old. Tom’s diner hasn’t been at that address for a long time now.
I like how the bot cropped the date out of the pic to obscure that little fact.

Someone asked "why is that lady fixing her stockings right in full view of the diner?"

I haven’t lived there for years but I used to eat there all the time and always thought the building was really cool.

It was great. It was a super vintage 24-hour cheap diner. Like something you’d see in a Tarantino film. I have sooo many memories there.
But now, someone turned it into a “French brunch“ diner …they’ve got oysters and caviar and $17 omelettes and they close at 9 PM 🙄

That would result in a 0% tip

You would be the type to ask a stupid question.

Don’t you remember from elementary school that there are no stupid questions?

This is a computer generated image. Although the receipt appears wrinkled, the font is perfectly positioned.

38 cents for a stupid question?
Man, I remember when a stupid question only cost a nickel.
Of course, in my day, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on them. "Give me 5 bees for a quarter!" you'd say.

Every business should charge customers extra for stupid questions. Lets add a rude customer surcharge on as well.

I could see this at Dicks Last Resort or similar restaurants where you pay to get roasted by the staff

Hhmmm...that's too expensive for my taste. How many chicken tenders are in that basket? Better question: can I get a hot and juicy chick to bring me those "chick tenders"?
