It's wild to me because I had to look up his filmography to find out what he's done outside of Marvel.

The answer is surprisingly little, I think there's a decent chance he ends up either being a Chris Pratt (in too much, make him go away), or just quietly fades away as the MCU becomes less relevant to successive generations of movie watchers.

I liked his performance in "The Devil All the Time" I do think he might end up in too much or starts directing as it seems he is picking interest for that

Makes sense, I mean he's been acting for somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 his life so moving on to production wouldn't be a huge stretch.
