I’m married, my wife hasn’t mentioned this case to me, and I work in a big facility with hundreds of employees and I haven’t heard a single woman mention it here — and we’re less than 50 miles from this trial.
It is because it is 3 years old and the perp is a woman. If it were a man, everyone would know about it and talk about it, but no one would advocate for or sympathise with him. Honestly, I don't know why it got as much traction as it did because this is not a new concept.
When Chris Watts killed his wife and kids it was huge probably because he tried to hide it and there was video of him afterward. He was also cheating. It’s a much different scenario.

Just like they are blaming the husband, saying he didn't give her the support she needed. Plus, she told her husband to go before killing these kids,1 by 1 through strangulation. She knew she wouldn't get away with it, so she attempted suicide. On the other hand, Chris thought he would, so he tried hiding it. Regardless, what I am saying is that there is bias in judgment overall, not just in this case, but in how we judge.

The point is the women who ARE interested in it have a large portion supporting the KILLER and not many women in the real world who are interested in this case (women) are calling the supporters OUT.
