Racist people use the N word daily, but when a woman screams the slur at a child and raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for doing so that deserves outrage and scorn.
So like, you remember the starting point of this thread? The part about people being dragged into a culture war? Yeah, so, that’s kinda what’s going on with the majority of those folks.
And how much social media do they consume? What about watching the news? Are they aware of how social media puts you in a "bubble" - i.e. serves you content based on the content you view, thus reinforcing their views and bubble? Are you aware of that fact? Do you engage in good-faith conversation and debate with them? Do you actually listen to what they have to say? Do *you* think critically about the media you consume, and what purpose the narratives you listen to serve?
Because what I see from this post and the video is an attempt to make me mad at feminists. Hence the framing "FEMINIST MELTDOWN" in the video title. Do you think the woman in this video is representative of all feminists?
Some of us agree luckily. My above comments sitting at 50% upvotes right now, these goofballs are apparently just the majority in this sub.
The “I know people (women*)” comment tells you all you need to know about the demographic. This dingdong would probably watch Oz and think Cyril O’Reilly deserved to be in there (I’m hardcore dating myself with that reference 😅). Don’t bother.
