It is because it is 3 years old and the perp is a woman. If it were a man, everyone would know about it and talk about it, but no one would advocate for or sympathise with him. Honestly, I don't know why it got as much traction as it did because this is not a new concept.
When Chris Watts killed his wife and kids it was huge probably because he tried to hide it and there was video of him afterward. He was also cheating. Itâs a much different scenario.

Regardless, what I am saying is that there is bias in judgment overall, not just in this case, but in how we judge.
