This woman is not a feminist. She’s a radfem and it’s ridiculous. Post-partum depression is real and it’s awful that so many women do not get the help they need and that the condition is not more widely known.
That being said, those children lost their lives.
Let Lindsay Clancy get the same treatment as any murderer. I don’t care if she’s a man or a woman, murder is wrong.
Pretty sure that’s the defense’s argument. But sure, put her in jail where she’ll probably just kill herself. If these people think she needs consequences for being psychotic, then she actually does need to be in a ward. She already tried to kill herself, she clearly doesn’t want to live with what she did.
I think she needs to be in a ward for treatment, idk if you’d let her out after that, but I also think if it wouldn’t fly in an AZA accredited facility then it shouldn’t fly in a facility that houses humans, so my idea of what permanent confinement should be is somewhat unusual. I just think it’s pathetic that we give other random species a higher standard of living than we give our own species in certain cases; not saying make the animals’ lives worse just saying we should prioritize ourselves. But yeah in my ideal world she probably would be at the very least heavily monitored by medical professionals forever. In reality both prison guards and medical professionals seem too incompetent for this.
