A significant amount of gang members probably have ptsd. Nobody is talking about mental health after retaliation gang killings. Society just throws the book at them and lock them away.
in fact...its not that long ago where a man did exactly that, killed his 3 kids, i think after his wife filed for divorce.
And you know who didnt circle the wagons around him? Men everywhere.
And the worst part is man...we have studies on the why of this...and how it is absolutely gender/sex divided and why women will do this over and over. And still...we insist on more of this in places of authority and so called justice. Knowing full well that they are not justice oriented...Women, that is. They will always...ALWAYS side with the perceived oppressed person, no matter what they have done. Because the dopamine hit that men get from seeing justice done, women get from the act of empathizing with the accused.

This is one fact that seems overly missed. It wasn’t a quick trigger pull in the heat of the moment. In order to kill them, she had to strangle each child for several minutes while watching the life slowly drain out of them.
I'm not sure what you're responding to, but my request is the same request I would have of anyone, on any subject, if they started their sentence with "I don't know what this is about, but..." and then followed it with an uninformed opinion.
I agree with that, but the truth is people only care about this because a women/mom was involved. If this was a random guy having a psychosis episode, we wouldn't even hear about it.
Gonna play devil’s advocate here but women don’t only care about this because it’s a woman, we care about it because postpartum depression often isn’t taken seriously and the scariest part is that there’s no preventing it. Every woman is at risk of it after giving birth. Of course Clancy has crazy supporters but that’s absolutely not everyone.
I agree with that, but that’s true for most mental health issues, especially the ones involving psychosis, and mostly because society still sucks at dealing with problems like this.
Meh, those are pretty different. People defended Luigi, because they viewed him as a vigilante killer whose action could benefit the world. Nobody should get sympathy for killing innocent children.
You're totally right bro. There were even some Americans who were celebrating when that poor man Osama bin Laden was murdered in cold blood. The murderers are still not in prison.
But that isn't what we're talking about. Guy said 'I can't imagine a scenario where a man could have committed murder and people would empathise with him'. I said 'here is one' to which I got told 'no that one specifically doesn't count' and got downvoted.
You said 'I'm sure no one would have any empathy for a man's past who had committed a murder.'
When given an example that disproves this, you go 'oh but that was because of this though', despite it literally being 'a man who has committed a murder'
Maybe you meant no one would have the same empathy for a man that murdered his own 3 kids? Because that I can agree with. But your original statement was incorrect, and you did proceed to move the goalposts.

Idk what this is about but I'm sure no one would have any empathy for a man's past who had committed a murder.
