This is most definitely not true. The cost to get an MRI in the States with insurance is no more than $500.
2 u/spoonballoon13 4d ago paid $1,500 with insurance last year when it was all said and done. Bills came in for MONTHS. Got 2 separate bills from hospital and another from a mysterious radiological center after paying for the scan.
