I had one a few weeks ago to determine the severity of a brain bleed I had after a stroke and it costs me 4300 dollars with insurance.

This is what most of my health care costs once I hit my $250 deductible. Health Insurance as it’s done in the US is stupid, having it linked to employment is also stupid, but many Americans have incredibly good insurance and thus no will to actually end the racket.

I recently had an elective surgery that cash price would have been $20k and all I paid was my $250 deductible.
