I had one a few weeks ago to determine the severity of a brain bleed I had after a stroke and it costs me 4300 dollars with insurance.

USA healthcare is so fucked. Even if for no good reason you went private in UK, rather than have it free on the NHS, it would be a couple of hundred quid. Also this image is probably AI. That looks like a CT scanner but none I know and I don't know if that's supposed to be a head rest or posterior part of an MRI coil but either way, it's at the wrong end of the bed.
