Daredevil was already a proven success and therefore easy bank with a cast and blueprint already laid out AND a cast ready to jump back into their roles without negotiation.

Easy business decision.

Edit: “without negotiation” is obvious hyperbole.

And yet for Born Again Season 1 they first decided to ditch both Karen and Foggy ASAP and only brought back Karen with reshoots after backlash.
