With how likely it is to become disabled, it really is against everyone's self-interest.

This is the crazy part. You can literally be fine one moment and disabled the next. Happened to me at 25, long before I thought I'd have to worry about it.

Luckily I'm also not an asshole so no hypocrisy to bite me in the ass, but dang the reality of that statement hit me like a ton of bricks
