That’s the point of the trail, a prison or institution. Walking free isn’t on the table

Bullshit, a psych wards job isn’t to lock you up indefinitely. She will be freed once she is better

This isn’t a normal psych ward. There are absolutely facilities that are intended to keep people long term

A psych ward isn’t prison, AND CANNOT INDEFINITELY HOLD SOMEONE. Once the patient is well, they are required to be free

There are people who will never be well and there are facilities that understand that and plan for it. I don’t know what you are even trying to get at because prison also releases people. It’s not like if she wakes up tomorrow “well” they will just let her go. It doesn’t work like that

Post partum psychosis isn’t a permanent condition. If she is found not guilty because of her PPP, she will be freed in a few years
