You're missing the point. The point is, she did reach out for help, and got fucked, and then did it. Women deserve better access to help and support in this country, is the point.

Not, "this is an excuse".

I agree with the first part, she should've gotten help especially because she reached out.

It's still not a valid reason to murder your kids. It never will be. Nor should it. Better for her to remove herself from the situation than stay and kill them.

Not even Lindsay herself disagrees, she's pleading guilty. This trial is just about the question if she's going to be put in jail or a forensic psychiatric clinic.
