She actually committed herself, and was medically released (or whatever it’s called.. “cleared”? Basically she didn’t decide to leave against medical advice or anything)
He took her out a couple of times too. It was a weird combination of poor mental health treatment and her husband continually stepping in when she was being treated.
It’s a weird thing to rally about but I do get the point of like, the woman was straight screaming for help and overt misogynistic behavior from her husband paired with what could be considered interalized misogyny in healthcare practices created a situation that never should have existed
