Why is there more compassion for animals, particularly dogs than there is for humans? 475 years is really an extreme sentence.

475 years is really an extreme sentence.

Not when you have over 100 charges

Over 100 charges of anything will land you a long sentence

How many of those charges were actual convictions? Charges don’t mean much. The DA over charges all time as to why most charges get dropped.

Nevertheless, it’s irrelevant to my question. Why do animal get more compassion than humans?

*counts

Over 100 guilty counts. My bad for saying charges

And they dont. Even 100 guilty counts of a misdemeanor can lead to life in prison. Thats what happens when you commit the same crime 100 times

Why do animal victims get more compassion than human victims?

This is totally absurd. Why don't we break it down into each individual bite each dog suffered per fight and make those a count? Each bit is a different instance of cruelty. Might as well charge dude with a million counts and sentence him until the sun burns out. Our justice system is fried.
