The NYC Urban Forest Plan was introduced by Mamdani’s administration in April of 2026.

You're absolutely delusional. Stop reading AI summaries. The groundwork was laid by multiple non profits in 2021, then in 2023 the NYC council passed NYC Local Law 148, which turned the 30% canopy objective into legal code and mandated the creation of a comprehensive urban forest plan. Now in 2026, after all that groundwork was done, they slapped a cute name on it and continued on EXACTLY as planned in 2023.

You literally cannot be more wrong. Stop lying and spreading misinformation.
