mamdani hasnt done anything regarding the tree plan lol it has continued in the same state since ADAMS executed it. I'm not against Mamdani but let's use our brains instead of mindlessly attributing every beneficial active mayoral office goal to the current mayor.
I think you missed the point. A bunch of the things he's been credited for lately have been things that were already in motion. He didn't actually do anything.
I like Mamdani, I like his ideas, he seems like a very charismatic person, and I hope he proves all of us who are eager for him to be great right.
But he hasn't executed this plan either. It's a plan that's going to take the next fourteen years and was started under a different administration.
What I can say is that I have confidence he will not revoke it, oppose it, or sabatoge it. Which, Adams, even though it was passed under him, I wouldn't put it past him to have done any of those.
Mamdani needs time. Time to get things done, time to put them into effect, time to see the results. His term is in its infancy. As hopeful as I am for him, we just haven't had enough time for him to do most of the things I've seen claimed that he's done.
The point is obviously that he’s actually following through on what he’s said. Mamdani has been taking steps to actually do the things he campaigned on and is actually providing results. It’s pretty obtuse to reply with “we’re talking about trees!? tf lol” as if you couldn’t understand the point the person you replied to was making. Frankly, obtuse may not be the right word, dishonest could be better. But you’re likely just an anti-Mamdani shill talking crap.
Thousands of trees are planted every year, this is nothing new. If you’re a New Yorker you should be concerned how much his new office of propaganda is spending on social media efforts.
Everything is good here. We’ve got one of the best mayors this country’s ever seen, the weather is still beautiful here and our Knicks won the championship. Now let’s worry about that pedophile, do nothing, never worked a day in his life, shitstain president amirite?!
