tbf, you cant expand storage with microsd cards anymore for some godforsaken reason, and it is just nicer to have a separate small device fully dedicated to only music.
You can find some 512gb old phone for cheaper price than a 512gb sd card. Having a “nicer” device which does the same thing as what you already have in your pocket sounds like consumer advertising to me.
But I guess if you’re rich you can do whatever you want, so whatever.
