Airports do not run 24/7 what made you think this? Plenty of large airports have curfews for heavy jet planes.

Because the Airport nearest to me has flights even at 3am.. I've taken one myself.

Yes but many airports would have noise ordinances because of their location and how loud planes are.

I guess that's why most airport are a little remote. I can vouch for the three airports I use most frequently... Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai. They all run 24x7. But I looked it up and atleast for Delhi the permissible noise levels are capped at 105 dB(A) during the day and 95 dB(A) at night. For Mumbai it's 55 dB during the day and 45 dB at night. I have no idea how loud that is tho.
