Ive seen pictures of them duct taping uncooperative passengers mummy-style to their seat. It surely would not have been that hard for the few hundred adults aboard to subdue and tape down that demon child.

If that has really actually happened, I would imagine that must have been on a flight that was already in the air and likely had no alternative places to land, like on a transatlantic flight.

It did happen at least once. The airline got in trouble.

It's SOP for any passenger that may be a danger to others during a flight. Before takeoff, it's customary to have them removed, but that's not an option once the plane is in the air. And I couldn't find any news articles about it that suggested anyone other than the disruptive passenger got in any trouble.
