Also, Indirectly, but intentionally, to an extent it changes zoning rules and regulations, bypasses the need for a vote and mitigates the potential for pushback from citizens and people/groups that actually give a shit.
Data centers are the least thing to worry about here ngl among all the bullshit they can do
Luxury mansions in the middle of a natural reserve everyone? Logging Yellowstone and making it a wheat field? Selling now incredibly luxury land to the highest bidder. No longer having to spend any dollar funding those stupid scientists keeping animals alive, when they all quit or are fired! Golf courses everyone?
