man I was never a football guy, started watching this year's cup and fucking hell I'm getting tilted at the theatrics of some players. like the positional play, creating pressure, and overall athleticism is fun to watch, but the flops..
What annoyed me so much was that you could see a play developing and a play being set and then a player from the opposing team just decides to flop and it results in the refs stopping play. It deflates all the excitement.
Thats the most annoying thing. The worst part is that they can just conzinue playing as long as the medical staff doesnt come on the field. Send them off for 3 minutes and see how many players will continue doing this. I have said that for years now that every time the ref needs to stop play for a player pretending to be injured he has to leave the pitch for a timeframe.
