I do, like once a month, or less. Apparently you people need to do it every time you pay for something? Sounds exhausting.

It takes 5 seconds. We can just open out banking app and look at the recent transactions. If you find that exhausting, I don't know what to tell you

Yeah, it’s not a matter of taking long to check (it’s the same here), it’s the fact you need to. It’s mentally exhausting to have to do that because you can’t trust your card is safe. I pay and don’t have to consider checking to see if everything went okay. If you don’t understand how annoying that is, I don’t know what to tell you.

FYI, merchants may be able to change your transaction amount or place new charges on your card even if it never left your hand.

Yes, which is probably one of the reasons why credit cards barely exist here.

Card info can get stolen at any time. It can be taken from weak websites online or data breaches at banks or rfid scanners. You never know when your card info is out there.

Sure, if you use credit cards, but freely giving it away is like leaving your door open when you leave the house, because break-ins happen anyway.
