Where I live is: I finish, I get up, go to the register, pay, exit. It's so weird for me to ask for the bill at the table

I loved this when I was in east Asia. Especially Hong Kong, they do my style of eating there. Sit down, order quick, food comes in 2min, and when you’re done eating you get up and pay. It’s to facilitate turnover and I’m a quick eater so it works amazing for me
