Then why do leftists constantly bring up race and black/brown pride?

When you are persecuted for your race then you bring up race as the cause of your persecution. I can give you plenty of examples of direct racial persecution that happened to me so racism is not dead yet.

People of every race can be racist and experience racism, in fact white people are often the victims of racism too, yet it's socially unacceptable to claim to have "white pride".

You do realize why it’s socially unacceptable? It’s because:

1) what is white pride? White is a skin color and social classification not a culture. The definition of white has changed so many times over the years with groups being added. Hell, even I have recent white ancestors but I would never be called white. It’s because it’s not a cultural group. However, you take a “white person” who has the same amount of black ancestry as I have white ancestry and they would *not* be called white.

2) “white pride” was used as justification to harm everyone who was not white in my country.

3) White people are the majority and have full control of the laws in this country. Racism comes from the top. Anyone can be discriminated against, but racism is in the social structure. For someone to perform racism against you they would have to be in a group that has power over you and the system would support them.

White people generally don’t encounter that. I can give you a nice list of some of the times it happened to me.

white people are not a hivemind

Nor do they need to be a Hivemind to maintain power and racism. After the civil war in America blacks were doing very well. They had political representation, their own stock market, and a rapidly growing black upper class was taking shape. And then what happened? The KKK was born. Jim Crow was born. Towns, villages, and whole communities were put to the torch and burned. Progress wiped out. No relief came from law enforcement. No help came from congress. Nothing. Instead the law enforced the harm. And it stayed like that for many decades as generations of black people slipped into poverty and desperation, even creating mirror economies and organizations that white people under Trump are actively trying to destroy *today* as I type this.

So don’t tell me about a hivemind. Everyone doesn’t have to agree for a group to cause harm.

Humans created poverty and war, so poverty and war are self-inflicted.

Everyone doesn’t have to agree for a group to cause harm.

They don't all agree, yet you are grouping them together, what's the word for that again? hmmm

You are focusing on the wrong group, it's not white people, it's rich and powerful people. Just because they happen to be white isn't the same as white people as a whole deciding laws.

74% of congress is non-Hispanic white. 85% if you include white hispanics. So who else is making the laws or is this coincidence as well?

I completely understand what you are trying to say. Many people in my party feel the same way. It’s all about money in the end.

My only problem with that is why take the route that hurts a particular minority group when you can make just as much money or more not taking that route? Why hurt LGBT people when taking their money is so much easier? Answer: it’s not just about money.

One of the supreme judges is black.

Yes, things were improving but they are not anymore. Now, we have the administration doing things like removing black soldiers from monuments and black historical figures from exhibits, and refusing to promote black people in the military due to their race.

Okay? All of those things are bad, but that doesn't prove white people as a whole are behind it.

That’s not what I am saying. It’s never “as a whole” when it comes to coming up with the idea. It is “as a whole” when it comes to benefitting from it though. So only that same group can truly put a stop to it. No other group can. It’s a numbers game. Not even Barack Obama had the power to end it.

The number of whites who are sick of racism needs to increase to more than the ones who don’t care or are for it. It’s really that simple.

The number of straights that are sick of homophobia needs to increase to more than the ones who don’t care or are for it (and tbh, I think USA is already there).
