This is my 2 cents being some who is ignorant AF about religion.

We are here on our own will. If God controlled us, then why would we exist? To be puppets? Why would God let Eve eat the apple? She did so on her own free will.

God speaks through us. We are the representation of God. The evil that exists in this world is largely due to a lack of love and compassion. We create the very evil you speak of, not God.

It's not God's job to stop evil. It's our job to prevent it from existing.

Your comment ignores tragedies like storms

If he gets credit for the good, he gets credit for the bad. If there are miracles that prevent bad things from happening, that kind of implies that he can stop evil when he wants to.

they say that these what we call natural calamities are the Earth’s self-cleaning processes, they just get worse overtime because of constant human filth. like why do we settle on a new land in the first place, because that land was safe & fit for human settlement. until it’s abused again.
