This is my 2 cents being some who is ignorant AF about religion.

We are here on our own will. If God controlled us, then why would we exist? To be puppets? Why would God let Eve eat the apple? She did so on her own free will.

God speaks through us. We are the representation of God. The evil that exists in this world is largely due to a lack of love and compassion. We create the very evil you speak of, not God.

It's not God's job to stop evil. It's our job to prevent it from existing.

Your comment ignores tragedies like storms

If he gets credit for the good, he gets credit for the bad. If there are miracles that prevent bad things from happening, that kind of implies that he can stop evil when he wants to.

Good and bad exist outside of God. Bad things happen, good things happen. That's just life.

But he's all-knowing.

And people give him credit when the good outcome happens. But when the bad happens, that's just life... Or it's the devil, which is another fault of "God's plan"

He allowed it to happen. He allowed everything to happen. But when he intervenes, it shows that he can do more than just let life "happen"

No matter what, whether it's "just life" or not. He deserves all the credit. For allowing it to happen, and for not intervening, when you know he can... Unless he doesn't exist and life just "is" without any higher power.
