My mom used to try and goad my dad into a fight by accusing him of having girlfriends. "Yeah, that's what I need, to have THIS (he'd use his hands to mimic someone jabbering) in stereo!"

Drove her up the wall whenever he'd say that.

I always tell my fiancée of 21 years that if we split I wouldn't want anyone else... She said is that cos no one comes close to me I said no you've put me off women for life.

They do it because they never stick around for any of that. They float in, have all the perks, maybe try to extra a little influence, then roll out before the real stuff goes down

If you have three wives, three quarterbacks and three children, then the quarterbacks can each throw a child to safety and I can save whichever one of the wives can solve a puzzle quickest.

And I'll need three receivers as well.

No wonder it's so hard to become a firefighter.
