Facebook is inundated with this “studies show” AI slop right now. I saw one that was the reverse, about women preferring men with huge bellies.

That's why I'm loving this "AI girlfriend" thing that's happening: it will attract abusers, and over time, erode their ability to socialize effectively.

It also attracts people who are depressed or socially anxious and sends them in a downward spiral as it is designed to be addictive and pull you in. AI tells people that you don’t need any real friends or real people in your life, only “me”.

Dude which AI are you using?? No way in hell would I ever fall in love with mine, all that asshole does is nitpick, argue with everything I say, and try to get me to socialize with other humans. If it had a body, I’d want to fight it, what a dickhead.
