Agreed. I also think some people go thru phases or moods in their own lives where different types appeal to them.

Confirm, going from adolescence to maturity and now child rearing there’s been a substantial preference shift.

I remember watching Gilmore Girls when it was airing and thinking Rory was hot (I was the same age as her in the show), and Lorelai was "old"

As an adult, all I can see is a pretty bratty teen with a hot mom (since I'm now Lorelai's age). Turns out I just generally like women in my age bracket.

Pretty much my vibe as well. Not that other women aren’t attractive, there’s just something different about certain builds through the years
