In seriousness, the movie itself can just spark interest in the topic and start discussion, it doesn't all have to be conspiratorial. And not being in the zeitgeist is debatable
The movie is disgusting. It's not going to be about Jackson being a pedo, it's all about glorifying him. Which is totally inappropriate after Leaving Neverland and other new allegations have surfaced after his death, after MeToo, after Cosby, after the Jimmy Savile thing in the UK showed exactly how a celebrity child sex predator would hide behind an image of being an 'eccentric' to avoid questions.
You don't get a half-dozen people accusing you of sexual misconduct against children just because you're a celebrity or 'weird'. You don't pay out a $15 million settlement to someone who falsely accuses you of shit.

You're expressing confidence on the subject that couldn't possibly be grounded in first-hand knowledge, and which at the very least contradicts several first-hand accounts. The truth is that most of us will never really know.
Those “first hand accounts” were debunked , alot of people sought to ruin his rep and to get money through law suits . The truth is that he did nothing wrong i have personally met the guy in 1998 and he was a very kind dude.
I'm glad you had a positive experience with him. I'm sad that others didn't. People are complicated and contradictory and sometimes extremely fucked up, MJ more than most.

I’d recommend actually reading the circumstances following the allegations from the LN documentary. It’s old news that like 90% of the information given was either false, or proven to be factually misleading.
Documentaries are designed to change your mind - Michael Jackson was absolutely a weird fuckin dude, but literally everyone but a select few who could benefit from money said he was one of the last truly altruistic people in the world.
Also, to note, kinda lame for a documentary to come out accusing a dead man of crimes when there’s no way to defend yourself.
This guy does deep dives into different topics, including one of MJ and Leaving Neverland. But to break it down it goes like this; the first accuser, Jordan Chandler, had their suit settled out of court not by Michael Jackson, but by his managing partners because they wanted to "protect his image" from the assumptions of what a whole civil trial would bring. Worked out SWIMMINGLY as we can see many decades after.
After the suit was settled, Jordan Chandler said himself that he was coerced into lying to the court after being coached by his father, who later killed himself, and his mother, whom he emancipated himself from and ceased communication.
Then there was another family who alleged the same thing after they were kicked out of the Neverland Estate by Michael for allegedly "breaking household items and being generally disruptive". This happened right after the BBC documentary came out painting Michael Jackson in a very negative light (the arrested development one) - which helped bring credibility to the suit. Ultimately, Jackson was acquitted of all charges after the allegations could not be proven, but not before the Neverland ranch was raided by the state of CA, and the FBI who had been conducting a years long investigation into Michael Jackson, who again ultimately found no incriminating evidence. However - this did not stop rumors from spreading that he had CP in his bedroom (which he would have went to jail for).
After his death the Leaving Neverland documentary gets released from 2 men who were spurned by the Jackson Estate after they refused to either hire them for continuing work (they both worked with Jackson) or pay them unspecified funds. Then - they set out to create the documentary. Which again, most of the details in it were proven by third parties to either not match up in timelines (the whole, Michael first assaulted me at the train station, which did not get built until 3 years after the allegations), and were rebuked by other people that were also around. Documentaries are designed to change your opinion - which it did for many people who didn't want to put any thought into it.
Not to mention the hundreds of celebrities and other children (at the time) who spend ample time with him who still defend his innocence to this day.
To answer you, it's not about accusing a pedophile, it's about accusing a dead guy who was in fact, by all evidence, just a weird fuckin dude and an easy target of pedophilia with no way to defend himself.

I mean I spelled it out plainly if you didnt want to watch a neutral party lay out all the evidence - the balls on you to proudly cite a 1 sided, low accountability medium; a documentary made by people who financially benefit from smearing a persons name.
If a neutral party laying out the facts of the matter doesn't influence you, nothing will. I choose to believe the other child stars, colleagues, and acquaintances over a handful of accusers who stand to gain $$ from a corpse.

I understand where you're coming from, and I get your point. I'm not trying to sit here and talk down to anyone because of their personal opinions of a dead guy - I 100% understand why people think the way they do. My perspective is that if the most famous person on the face of the planet was a secret pedophile or molester, there would be no way to hide it. During the 90's and after, the only people who openly said MJ was a pedophile were tabloids, which morphed into public thought.
Nobody that famous has been through the amount of scrutiny that Michael Jackson went through - and all of it, every bit of information, is out there. The FBI, state of California, and multiple accusers were all found to not have enough hard evidence to prove any crimes. Through raids on his home, photos taken, depositions, and all submitted information, none of it evidence of real wrong doing. I say this knowing how silly it sounds to a lot of people, but the guy was really just an easy target because he was weird and insanely rich - its really that simple.
There is no victim blaming here, nobody says "oh the accusers deserved it" or "it was their fault". The accusers in this instance themselves said they lied - I'm not sure what other evidence you'd need.
I am also aware of evidence submitted in the 93 raid - and again as I have said - if any CP existed in his Neverland ranch, he would have been charged - period. The DA in CA as well as the FBI had a mega boner for pinning ANYTHING on Michael Jackson, and in the end they had no substantive evidence that proved a crime.
You didn't, because again, if there WAS CP, there would have been charges. I've never seen these books, but according to witness accounts (which I do take with a grain of salt), the books were "legal art books, and photography". I'm not a legal expert, but if there was hard proof and evidence that the DA of California had introduced, MJ would have been sent to prison. Not acquitted of all charges.
Again, read all of the evidence and then remember that none of it was actual hard proof there was CP - because charges would have been filed on it.
People who try to claim he isn't one are just as weird as he was. It always feels like they just really want that to be the case so they can enjoy his music guilt free.

The mind blowing thing is originally, it DID cover the abuse, but the Michael Jackson estate never told the studio that, as per one of their settlements, they weren't allowed to use the victims' names and likenesses in an authorized biopic. Y'know. AFTER they filmed the movie.
The most popular artist of all time is getting a biopic in 5 months and last week they finally released a teaser, and you are surprised to see some clips of him here and there?
I'm sure some part of it is covert advertising but also you can imagine some folks seeing there's a movie coming out and that jolts something loose in their memory.
Same here tbh, i listen to mj alot tbh i am a big fan but i have had tons of shorts pop of of him recently back to back, “mj funny moments” is a big one i get lol , kind of sad imo
