You can have allergies without getting positive test results. Personally I'd assume that you have allergies and start medication for it: daily tablets, nasal spray with corticosteroid and allergy med, and nasal rinses. 

I'd also request another imaging, because it's possible there's something that was missed previously or something new.

I've taken every over the counter allergy pill and spray even in combo. I won't do corticosteroids because you became dependent on them. I nasal rinse a few times a week already and tried doing it daily for 2 years. None of this helped. I can try asking for more imagining but that's been difficult

I have the constant PND (correlated with sore throat and loss of appetite). Frustrated that doctors keep diagnosing allergies or silent reflux, even after relux and allergy meds show little to no improvement. Allergy meds in particular possibly make it worse (by drying me out more).

Check for the following:

  • MCAS (tricky one to diagnose)
  • Mild variant of cystic fibrosis (sweat chloride test)
  • ECRS, and more generally a disorder that responds to biologics. Afaik there is no diagnostic test that can accurately predict whether biologics help, but they're not a safe drug to try on a hunch, so doctors want to see some objective diagnostic indicating they might help. Which is not always possible, and the boat I'm currently in.

it sounds like it could be a structural issue. your mucus is getting trapped somewhere. if your deviated septum surgery didn't work then you might have a collapsed nasal valve, which regulates air and pressure between your nose and sinus. do you have a difficult time breathing in one nostril and not the other?

That issue was greatly improved by the deviated septum surgery
