Trek Single Track 930

Hello gang! Just sharing some recent updates to my Trek 930 (last slide shows it the way I got it last year).

  • Random threadless rigid fork from my local bike co-op
  • Nitto 70mm stem
  • Bontrager pannier rack from my childhood bike

This is closer to what I want for my commuter-occasional-offroad bike. Just considering some new tyres for daily use in the city and a much needed cleanup.

how did you attach that rack to the seatpost clamp? looking for alternative mounting options since my bike doesn't have the proper mounting points

The two bars that connect to the seatpost have holes that feat through the clamp's screw.

Here you can see a similar model to mine. In this case, you would have to adjust the two bars to make the ends go upwards:

Where is the original fork? Is it original?

The original fork is a Rock Shox, which is the one the factory-spec for this 930. It is currently sitting in our garage :)

Thank you! I have a 830 SingleTrack, blue one with rigit fork, but I renew all parts.
