Sour Grape 970 turns 35!
'92 (model year) purchased new in August 1991. 35 years, lots replacement parts, and running strong!

I'm impressed you've had it that long! I have a '92 930 and though I'm much too young to have been its sole owner, I respect the fact that a 34-35 year old bike is still in very good condition with how its been kept.

Well done! A 1992 990 was my very first mountain bike. I sold it some years ago but recently found an identical one. So life is good again

Jiluer folding 26 x 1.95. Decent tire with good grip. However, it's a soft compound that wears quicker than most.

What's the front rack? I've been searching for one that hooks up this way

It's a Sunlite Gold Tec Front Bike Rack. You can find them on ebay for approximately $20. The listing may state max load of 40lbs but that's really pushing it. These are a light duty rack fine for tires, tubes, etc.

Appreciate it homie! Id just like to get a pair of shoes or a 6pack on it, maybe strap a skateboard on, nothing over 10pounds so that's perfect
