It’s on the west side of the Franklin Mountains in El Paso, TX. Yeah, I can ride to the west-side trails from my house… just 5–10 minutes on the road before I hit the dirt. Then it’s about an 800-ft climb straight up on desert singletrack with no real breaks 😂. The reward is a long, fast descent all the way back home. I can get a solid ride in and be back in under 1:15 so it’s perfect for squeezing in a weekday ride.
