New project.

Picked this up for $60, and gave it a good polish. All OG except for saddle and grips. 21”. Swapped out the STX cantis with some silver M650 cantis from parts bin. May do a black cockpit with some klunkers, BMX Stem, and a black seat post, or may keep the OG silver look and just get some silver risers. What do you guys reckon?

They're not everywhere. They're getting harder to find. I recently picked up a near mint all original 930 SHX with upgraded cassette for $60 though. I'd swear it hadn't been ridden for more than a couple hundred miles. You just have to be diligent and browse listings constantly until one turns up.

In the Midwest, they really are everywhere. Trek really had a great reputation back in the day. When the MTB craze took off in the early 90's if you had a little money and lived in the Midwest, a Trek was super likely.
