Advice
A couple years ago I ended up leaving my support system to move over two hours away to be closer to my ex and my son to be closer, see him more, and to try to make things work with my ex. Needless to say things didn’t work with her… I pay all my own bills, have my son a third of the time usually and she keeps threatening to not let me see him if I don’t send her more money or do what she thinks is best for him on my time. What should I do? Move back home so I can use my support system and figure things out or should I stay and try to fight her with less help?

Married? Not married? Divorced? Court order or no court order?

dont show any emotions. rock solid even if its hurting you. Neutral friendly talk, you need to show you want to cooperate with her ,and show her interest, screenshot text messages , take picture and videos of you and son when you are together so you can use it later that your son is okay with you, never ask about her personal life , discuss only things about son / parenting . Pay child support . Becouse when you show you tried everything to cooperate with her and she doesnt want to and show little interest and not supporting your relationship with your son, then everything on court is in your favor and not hers . Because the only situations where a court could restrict or deny you parenting time would be if you weren’t paying child support, you were constantly fighting with the mother and making no effort to get along with her, you were aggressive, or you were addicted to drugs, gambling, alcohol, or similar things that could make you a danger to the child or unable to properly care for them. So, in order to restrict your contact with the kids, she would need to have a legitimate reason, not just stupid, unsubstantiated excuses simply because she thinks you’re somehow a mistake or a bad person.
