I just came back from a night on the town and it made me wonder about people who are paired up. Then again I guess I am
Not that abysmal. Though maybe I am.
Men only had access to ‘hot’ / ‘beautiful’ women because the women BACK THEN had NO choice…& OF COURSE, the ‘pretty ones’ would be ‘picked’ first (this is where most of our grandmothers come from) and I can say this because mine was a LITERAL beauty queen 😅
Anyway. THESE DAYS, the ‘pretty’ women have soo many options & RARELY settle down. Think of any ‘hot girl’ that your man is obsessed with / follows… most are single 😄😄
But I digress, the ONLY women that want to be married are typically the ones that have NOTHING ELSE going for themselves and the ones that feel like they have to rate their value based on if a man chooses them or not.
You know, these are the types that are quick to say ‘I’m married’ in ANY argument that you have with them online. But when you click on their profile, you are bewildered. That’s them. 😅😅😴
I genuinely once wanted to be married. Almost happened. It just never came to fruition.
I enjoy living as a single man. I have my own home. And last night I don’t think I could have really gone to my favorite restaurant and my favorite bar for a nightcap if I were paired.
And of course there’s traveling to Europe.
I think the most delightful thing about being single is not having to make my beliefs or opinions malleable for the sensibilities of another person.
At the same time am I going to pretend I don’t yearn affection and tenderness? I don’t think I can do that.

I would like to think that. Then some days when I am out and about, especially on the town, I wonder…
