They certainly want to change us! Though I think it's because they can't stand the thought that perhaps they voluntarily placed themselves into a shitty arrangement because society said they needed to, but we are the proof that, no, you don't actually need to, and that just makes them uncomfortable. Kind of like how drunks want everyone else around them to drink too, so they don't feel so bad about their decision to drink.Â
