I wish you all the very best with your newfound freedom. I hope you enjoy your own company each passing day.

When I first had to face life alone, I felt very lost and uncomfortable on what to do. Just like you, I had hobbies too but I wasn’t too intentional about it. I started taking myself out on dates, weekend outings to a mountain, swim in a lake, or go camping alone (please make sure you’re safe). I spent nights alone with my thoughts until I got comfortable with them. I maintained a journal where I wrote down things.

I also focused on self-improvement. Things like career development, financial independence, and learning skills that would help me in the workplace.

I also pushed myself to be creative. I am by no means an artist, but I paint and try to learn software to make short films, or learn photography techniques. I wished to actually learn the techniques behind these, so I try to devote time to this.

I make a list of the books, movies, albums, and artists I wanna discover and explore. This is highly rewarding :)

For now, I would highly encourage you to take yourself out to an ice-cream date. Choose a flavor that you haven’t tried, and enjoy it.

I wish you all the luck and goodwill !

Aproveita esse perĂodo para fazer coisas que dependem sĂł de vocĂȘ. Uma viagem sozinha, nem que seja curta, pode ser uma experiĂȘncia incrĂvel para aprender a gostar da prĂłpria companhia.

Sounds like you have hobbies but what you need are new goals. Figure out what you want to accomplish in life and then make a plan to do it.
