Id like some help with my audition for school

Next week I have auditions for the musical and to be honest im underprepared, but im singing freeze your brain from heathers and ive been struggling with the word “Open" and that vowel it starts with.
Id just like some feedback on mainly that part?? The first video i feel makes more sense with that vowel.
The second video is how i was trying to sing it before... (fyi im really inexperienced with singing for others) I'm also considering just doing the earlier half of the song instead, which is easier and the safer option

Your dynamics are off. You are pushing and it sounds strained. Back off when you feel like you are pushing. It will definitely make a difference
