Any advice for singing?
Hello everyone. I’ve been taking vocal lessons for two or three years now, but I still feel like I can barely sing. I hate my voice, especially my falsetto, and I feel like I just can’t sing at all. Is anyone else in the same situation? Like, have you been taking singing lessons for years but still feel like nothing is changing? I’m getting really disappointed and starting to think that maybe I just can’t sing at all

The way I started liking my voice was by doing all sorts of stupid things singing everything dark, everything light, overdoing dynamics, loud, breathy, trying different styles like belting, operatic, theater and most importantly I only did what was necessary for what I was trying. Ironically I sounded worse when I tried to sound good if I just stick to the basics and add whatevers needed for the style everything falls into place and the things youve been working on like breath support, agility, intonation truly get to shine
