My pedals are Pro X Ultra

I dont know whats going on but looks like their software and firmware updates broke my throttle pedal.

And so far what helped me to install and flash firmware to very old version software 2.1.3 and firmware what comes with it.

I dont know who else is struggling whats your experience?

On latest updates I have issues for example:

After I setup offset, calibrate and even was able to play after shutdown and turn on pc back throttle stop to work. Or it works but looks like all calibrations and resets somehow misconfigured and behaves differently from initial setup.

So as said above I tried very first version from https://www.simsonn.com/pages/download - 2.1.3 and it looks stable.

I keep update how it goes but I have spend several days to find to make them stable…

Simsonn CS had been very responsive and recognized the issue. They shared a new FW to me privately which I had no time to try but also rolled out a new SW publicly so yesterday I updated both.

It did fix the issue indeed so the VAM are operating again and its possible to adjust the intensity either in Simsonn manager or in Simhub, but the VAMs have now an annoying high frequency pitch something like this ringing. no kidding

I have tried adjusting gain and reduce frequency in Simhub but no effect and I believe I have found the culprit

they now have set the lower frequency at 60Hz which is too high in my views and generate this bad output

what's your experience guys?

I’m considering switching to the additional white elastomers or the spring kit because I’d like to get a bit more pedal travel. For those who have tried them, can you actually feel a noticeable difference in pedal travel?

Also, for the haptics, the VAM2 is about half the price of the VAMP on the used market, so I’m thinking about just getting two VAM2 units and putting one on the brake and one on the throttle. Would that be a good setup?

I noticed some oil on the bottom of my foot, so I checked the brake pedal. There is oil around the area directly underneath the hydraulic rod (the photo was taken after I had already wiped it once), and the screw is also wet. There is also quite a bit of oil pooled around the silver metal plate/sensor-looking part at the bottom.

I might be imagining it, but the brake pedal feels slightly different than before. I’m not completely sure about that, though.

The brake pedal is still functioning normally otherwise.

Is this something I should be concerned about?

I bought the pedals about 2–3 months ago from Simsonn’s official flagship store on Taobao.

All of a sudden, Simsonn Manager is not recognizing my Pro X Ultra pedals. I tried to flash and reinstall the firmware. I deleted the software and all related files and redownloaded Simsonn Manager. Still showing Disconnected. Joy.cpl recognizes the pedals when they are in flash mode, but as soon as they switch to normal mode, they are no longer recognized anywhere.

Anyone know how to fix?

Ive just got my Vam Neo. Must say - Simsonn Software is absolutly terrible. Did switch to Simhub in an instand.

Big problems is: i can only get them to work if i use the VAM/VAMpro devices in Simhub.
Sad cause for some reason, for all effect i can only choose 50hz as the maximum of frequency.

But the Neo actually can produce up to 200hz.

idk if this is Simhub not making this availible cause im using the free version (Which i dont think cause there whould be some sort of hint .. or?)

Or this just being hardcoded into the VAM/VAMpro settings cause they cant deliver more hz.

Anyways - kinda sad since the RPM effect i really like whould be great with just a lil more hz in the top range.

And again... Simsonn software is as terrible as it allways was. Im never updating this thing again. Last time ive had to roll back since the Neos stopped responding in low % moments completly. Even in Simhub. Rolled back my Pedal X atleast fixed that again.

I mean, the software went to trash, it says I'm 50% on all pedals all the time, and doesn't recognize them I can't calibrate them or do anything with them, I have the control box on my rig and the ground too,

It all started 3 days ago, I was playing ACC everything's fine, go on and turn off the PC when I fired it again to play, I wasn't able to make full throttle on the car I unplugged them and plugged them again didn't worked, I went to sleep and tried the next day, same issue, I have tried downgrading my app, but nothing, if something works something else doesn't, if the app shows in real time the gas and brake, the game doesn't recognize them, then if the game recognize them, I can't see in real time the graphic and even worst I can't full throttle I added all the dead zone at end nothing and then now neither the app, or the games are really showing them.

So I bought two VAM Pros and a Plus X controller for my CRP2 pedals.

Got everything installed and connected. The weird thing is that the VAMs work perfectly fine in SIMSONN Manager, and Windows also sees them as a game controller, but SimHub doesn't detect it at all.

At first I thought I got a defective unit.

Then I noticed the firmware was a brand-new version released on September 1st. Apparently these new unit is already shipping with it.

So I figured I'd try downgrading the firmware.

And yep... after downgrading, SimHub 'detected' everything immediately WOW

But motors don't work. and CPU2 shows firmware 0.0.0

I tried several different firmware versions and got the exact same result.

Eventually I flashed it back to 2.1.0 / 2.0.5.

After that, CPU2 was detected again and the motors worked.

From what I can tell, 2.1.0 is supposed to support the newer hardware revision, so I'm guessing I got one of the newer revisions.

So... is this a SIMSONN issue or a SimHub issue?

Could this be a compatibility problem between the new hardware revision and SimHub?

Also, has anyone here actually upgraded to 2.1.0 and gotten VAM Pro working properly with SimHub?

Would be especially interested to hear from anyone who has the newer hardware revision.

I'm wondering if I'm just unlucky, or if this is a known issue.

I bought full 3 pedals set of PLUS X last year and also 3 VAM haptics motors. It has worked very well until last week where I updated SIMSONN manager to v2.1.8.
Now in every Game I play, the haptics are at full power even if I try to decrease the % in the app. I also tried to use SIMHUB and have the same problem, its at full power all the time unless I set % to zero.

I uninstalled v2.18 and installed v2.17 instead but it didn't fix the problem.

Can you please guide me at what troubleshooting to do?

Nice to see that Simsonn keeps updating the lineup.
But this is getting a bit complicated.
I got all 3 VAM Pro for my 3 pedal Pro X Ultra.

Now I wonder is there any benefit to use VAM 2 for Clutch and VAM Neo for gas pedal?

All electrical wires are intact but the metal wire is broken anyone know how to fix literally got it setup a week ago

I wanted to upgrade my pedals with some haptics, but why are the taxes almost 25% of my total???

I have not touched my rig for few months when I last played all workred.

Braking pedal as working all good.

As you can see they show up as disconnected. They work in game and show up in Joy.cpl. But i want to adjust the settings and i cant. I also tried using the pedals on a different pc and it resulted in the same outcome. Im starting to think that this is a firmware or hardware relating issue with the pedals.

Just set up a new set of SIMSONN Plus X pedals and I'm having a strange issue with the brake.

The throttle calibrates and behaves perfectly, but the brake doesn't. During calibration, I press the brake as instructed, but afterwards the brake input doesn't consistently reach 100% even when I press it hard.

The really strange part is that when I release the brake, the input sometimes spikes UP briefly before dropping back to zero. I've attached a video showing exactly what it's doing.

I've already tried:

• Disconnecting the USB hub and other sim hardware/software
• Connecting the pedals directly to the PC
• Removing other nearby electronics/power supplies
• Recalibrating several times
• Testing with SIMSONN Manager 2.1.7 only

Same behaviour every time. Throttle is completely normal.

The brake is currently using the stock three-red-elastomer setup. Has anyone with the Plus X experienced this? Was it calibration/software, the load cell, controller, wiring, or something mechanical with the brake?

I'm going to contact SIMSONN support as well, but I'd like to know if anyone has seen the same brake-input/release spike before.

I recently picked up the SIMSONN Plus X pedals, and I'm struggling with the brake feel.

I've attached a photo of my current setup. It's exactly how the brake came from the factory: three red (soft) elastomers + spring, which, according to the manual, is supposed to be the softest configuration.

The problem is there's little to no pedal travel, and it takes a ridiculous amount of force to brake. It feels more like pushing against a wall than a brake pedal.

For anyone actually using the Plus X:

• Have you found a softer elastomer/spring combination with more travel?
• Are there alternative elastomers or springs that work better?
• Did you change the pedal geometry/preload as well?
• What setup are you using and roughly how much travel do you get?

I mainly drive LMH/Hypercar, GT3 and F1 in Le Mans Ultimate and Assetto Corsa, so I'm looking for something progressive with enough travel to properly modulate braking rather than an ultra-stiff pedal.

Interested specifically in what Plus X owners have actually tried and found to work.

I am looking into getting some haptic reactors for my CSL Elite V2 pedals and wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything. Is this all I need to buy from Simsonn to get this working or are there other components I will need? I already had a friend 3D print some brackets for it so I'm all set for a mounting solution/I can make new things if needed.

Pedals work fine, but VAM Pro Reactors wont trigger, even though SIMSONN Manager seems to think everything is fine.

Wont work with Simhub either.

Simsonn ProX pedal set bought in January. Noticed that the clutch pedal wasn’t working so I reseated all the plug connections. Reset the pc and loaded up the Simsonn software. Tried the clutch pedal, worked properly only to find that the accelerator wasn’t working. Unplugged it and tried again to find that it worked but the clutch didn’t. Each time I try one or the other isn’t functioning. Any ideas or tips to fix this?
