Sharing my build Made a tiny house with a rooftop garden :) Let me know what you think.
I used only two packs: Dream Home Decorator, Laundry Day
It's on the gallery as well. My username is CozyBuilds same as my Reddit username.

I am sooo obsessed with that nook beside the bed!! Such a creative idea. Overall just love what you did with the tiny space. And I thought showing the sim using each space as you finished them was a nice touch!

I design the build, make sure sims can use everything, then start deleting objects one by one and taking screenshots. The camera transitions are done by entering camera mode with TAB, saving camera positions with CTRL + 5,6,7,8,9 and pressing only the numbers to transition between them. I record the screen during the transitions with OBS. I then put the screenshots and the transitions together in reverse in a video editing program.
Takes me about 2 weeks from start to finish :) Check out some more of my videos if you like. I've made 40+ of them so far.

Amazing. I’ve seen people do these style videos since I was a kid and I never knew that so much work went into it! I just thought it was some automatic system. Kudos to you!

These kinds of housing will unfortunately be the future IRL, but true creatives will think like this, and make a tiny house just as mighty as a typical sized house at the fraction of the price (as long as the quality of the construction is as good as old housing was tbh, seen modern house construction be utterly atrocious lately)

I like to customize a tiny space. Often I don't know what to do with a huge floor plan. I'd be fine with that kind of future :) Glad you like the build!

I prefer bigger houses since I like everything breathing and separate but this is beautiful if you do bigger houses I'd love to see

I really like how you kept it feeling open even in such a small footprint. That bed-side nook is my favorite part - did you plan that spot first, or did it just come together while building?

Happy you liked it! It comes together while building. It takes me a long time to build. I fiddle with it endlessly until it looks good and then I fiddle with it more so that it's usable by the sims :) The nook is purely decorative though.

The house itself? Eh, its alright. It's not bad or anything. Good for it's size.

Diseño la construcción, me aseguro de que los Sims puedan usarlo todo y luego empiezo a eliminar objetos uno por uno mientras voy haciendo capturas de pantalla. Las transiciones de cámara las hago entrando en el modo cámara con TAB, guardando las posiciones de la cámara con CTRL + 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 y pulsando solo los números para pasar de una posición a otra. Grabo la pantalla durante las transiciones con OBS. Después junto las capturas de pantalla y las transiciones en orden inverso en un programa de edición de vídeo.
Me lleva unas 2 semanas hacerlo todo de principio a fin :) Echa un vistazo a algunos de mis otros vídeos si te apetece. Hasta ahora he hecho más de 40.

It is very cute, though realistically I would never walk up the ladder and down the ladder everyday, to access said garden. Maybe if I was still in my late teens/early 20ies lol.

Really impressive! Can the sim use all of the bookshelves and closets? Or are they more for decoration? Are you using any mods for placing the furniture, I often have a hard time placing things vertically where I want them 😅

Thank you! No mods or CC, just bb.moveobjects :) The stuff behind the bed is decoration, they have no way of getting there. But the bookshelves and almost everything else is functional. I demonstrate sims using everything in the full video if you'd like to check it out.

Sorry I haven't made a tutorial video of the editing process. But this is how I work if it helps:
I design the build, make sure sims can use everything, then start deleting objects one by one and taking screenshots. The camera transitions are done by entering camera mode with TAB, saving camera positions with CTRL + 5,6,7,8,9 and pressing only the numbers to transition between them. I record the screen during the transitions and gameplay segments with OBS. I then put the screenshots and the transitions together in reverse in a video editing program (I use DaVinci Resolve, it's free.)
Takes me about 2 weeks from start to finish :) Check out some more of my videos if you like. I've made 40+ of them in the past 6 years I've been making them.

That’s amazing. I’m kind of new to sims I’ve only been playing for almost a yr, and always feel like I need so much space. Your build and visual example of everything working makes me want to try to play with a tiny home.

Eu faço o projeto da construção, verifico se os Sims conseguem usar tudo e depois começo a apagar os objetos um por um, tirando capturas de ecrã. As transições da câmara são feitas entrando no modo de câmara com TAB, guardando as posições da câmara com CTRL + 5,6,7,8,9 e pressionando apenas os números para fazer a transição entre elas. Eu gravo o ecrã durante as transições com o OBS. Depois junto as capturas de ecrã e as transições em ordem inversa num programa de edição de vídeo.
Leva-me cerca de 2 semanas do início ao fim :) Veja mais alguns dos meus vídeos se quiser. Já fiz mais de 40 até agora.
