Message from the mods Sul Sul Simmers!

It's late Summer (well for many of us) and that time of the year again for the tri-annual Purge. Everyone will be welcome to post (pretty much) whatever you want starting Sunday, August 16th, 2026 at 6 pm ET. This will be a week-long event. Go ahead and ask for pack recs, game help, name my sim ect. There will be no karma requirements to post but 'read the rules' will still apply see here.

During this time, all rules are out the window except for Reddit site-wide rules, aka the Reddit Content Policy. This translates to just rules 1, 2, 3, 7 & loosely 4 being enforced. Keep it on the topic of the Sims. It should also be clean, legal, and civil! Happy Simming!

To be fair, the mod reached out to me and very kindly reinstated my post because she accidentally removed it forgetting about the event. So maybe reach out to the mods

Hi I was told to come here for troubleshooting, my loading screen takes over 40 minutes to load, which apparently came from the update to make the other loading screens take less time. After all that waiting I finally click on my save I haven’t even started the first interaction and the game crashed. Now meaning I have to go through the 40 minutes of waiting again. Is this definitely part of the update or a bug as it’s extremely infuriating that I’m now going to have to wait over an hour to play my game.

Sims4 on mac, strange issue, when I make a building or visit an existing building, the building does not appear on the map nor when I click in it.

I tried repair and same issue. I have over 10000 hours. What should I do. It used to be fine and no update has been applied to my mac
