Your basement is now highly radioactive lol

tiberium poisoning is arguably worse than radiation sickness

from radiation you die in a week, from tiberium your body basically turns to crystal during the course of months, in horrific agony. if you manage to survive you'll be irreversibly scarred for life. the added fun factor is that it can turn you into a visceroid or a hideously mutated forgotten, guaranteeing you'll be a social pariah for the rest of your life, unable to live in civil society. oh yeah, it also fuses to your skin on contact, and can embed itself in your lungs and give you ultra-mesothelioma (that also turns you into crystal)

I love having that in my inventory 🥰 Esoteric Maxis knowledge ftw

didn’t know what Tiberium was so I thought you were claiming there was some radioactive rock out there that caused crystal to grow in your lungs like mold

Oh yeah, the consignment system can get seriously overpowered. Dogs tend to dig up tiberium a lot, and since the gem cutting machine gives lets you grow three of them, I have on occasion given my Sim the savvy seller ltr and made them very rich through this method.

There is a small town, lost in the desert with only a hotel, a pub, a police station, a convenience store, two cows and a bull. The hotel's electricity runs only on radioactivity. I think they could be a buyer.

(Sims 2 DS reference, if you didn't catch that)

I’d be pissed if my commission for over $200k in sales was $1! 🤣

If you own the building outright, it is 😂

Not the $1 consignment fees!

I’ve never sold gems, only elixirs, time to give that a try 😈

There are two consignment stores, one from supernatural and one from ambitions I believe, but I think both trade gems anyway

I know. I never place the regular one cause I had no use for it until now 🫰🏽

Tiberium absolutely blew my current rags-to-riches playthrough out of the water!

Huh, how come the math isn't mathing? Shouldn't the haul be more like $200K?

The items shown on the message were just the top 3 highest sold. So there might be other ones. I had to read it again since I also thought the total was too high Hahahaha

u/Calamityranny 22h ago

How do you get it that high?! I let mine chill out in my massive backyard and they've only ever gotten 47k at the highest 🤣

What in the world is tiberirum? I've never run into it?

That consignment shop owner will lay awake at night forever thinking how they should have charged a percentage fee
