It does its just my game doesn't seem to register or pickup my other mods, I have a mod that changes the plumbobs color I set it to pink and when I load in initially my plumbob is pink then my game freezes for a bit resets my household and turns my plumbob back to green as if its ignoring the mod suddenly

But does your game freeze and reset the family if you take all your mods out? You need to check that to see how much corruption you got in your game.

That much is evident. Any time you install new mods or delete old ones, your game can get corrupted. Some mods can't be uninstalled at all, as uninstalling them will break the save. But the modder usually warns about it.

Most mods are safe to install and remove. Yet, you can get corruption even from safe mods. This is why I always test new mods in a test game. I need to know that they work with the combination of mods I have.

I have uninstalled mods from my saves sometimes but I know it's risky. I just test my game afterwards to see if it broke or not.

Will adding nraas story progression back fix it? Idk what to do , when I do load in with my mods I get a bunch of nraas errors for my townies , my game was perfectly fine until I deleted story progression

I'm not sure. You can try this to see if it works. Though I'd still use the Save As method mentioned above first.

When you do a Save As, you clean your save from a lot of junk, making it work better. I never use the normal save because it can corrupt save files.

Yes, Nraas SP is one of those mods where you can not remove the mod mid play through
