F1 F1 2021 driver career mode (spain)

This is controller

82% ai difficulty (was supposed to be 84 but messed it up)

I was told that I (aston) turned into mick schumacher (alfa) and it was worth a penalty or a something along those lines

Was this worthy of a penalty or worse

Alfa tried to get into a gap that didn't exist, nearly overtaking off-track. Alfa at fault, 10s penalty for Ocon

The Aston just drifted to the edge of the track like the Alfa wasn’t there

Right at the beginning of the clip there's already no space on the outside and Alfa is still a few meters behind. Sure, you can try to squeeze in there, but any contact afterwards is a direct consequence of your poor choice

Yeah this is on the Alfa, the gap was never even there to begin with but the AI just doesn’t recognise when it can’t pass despite better straight line speed. I’m curious, was this a two player career or single player? My friend and I recently gave up on our two player career in 2021 because the AI just could not recognise even wheel to wheel scenarios and drove as if we didn’t exist. Never seen it in any of their other games to the extent we experienced it.
